Your upcoming Minneapolis trolley tour will begin at a newly reimagined landmark—the Pillsbury Club. Once the grand home of Charles Alfred Pillsbury, founder of the world-famous Pillsbury Flour Mill, the mansion was rescued from demolition and purchased by local preservationists in 2025. For the first time in its 100-year history, it has been opened to the public as Minneapolis’s first boutique-style visitors center.
Today, the Pillsbury Club serves as the launch point for trolley tours and city experiences, offering guests a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that blends rich traditional craftsmanship with fresh opportunities to explore the city’s stories. Looking ahead, the Club will also feature a cocktail lounge, perfect for relaxing before or after your tour. Upstairs, private club rooms will be available for workshops, intimate gatherings, and special occasions.
Fun Facts:
- The paneled hallways are from the early 1400’s and were shipped over from England.
- The painted emblems in the windows are from Churches across Europe and depict many significant times in the worlds history.
- The Chandeliers in the Great Rooms are over 350 pounds each.
Tickets
Your tickets were sent to you in the confirmation email you received at the time of booking. These contain a QR code that will be scanned by our ticketing staff prior to boarding. Please have your QR code ready on your phone or printed out when you arrive to help keep things moving smoothly.

Boarding Passes & Check-In
Check-in takes place at the Pillsbury Club, located at:

Guests will check in on the mansion’s main floor, where you’ll find our ticket box with Boarding Passes. Please grab a boarding pass with your correct tour and time, you’ll need one for each person in your party. Have your QR code available for scanning as we board the trolley at your scheduled departure time.

Departure Time
Your tour starts promptly at the listed departure time—this is not just a suggestion, it’s your official departure. We recommend all guests arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow time for check-in, ticket scanning, and boarding. The trolley departs on time, and we cannot hold it for late arrivals.
PArking
We offer free street and free lot parking for all guests visiting the Pillsbury Club. The parking lot is directly across of the Club in the MCAD Church lot.

To ensure the best experience for all guests, please review the following:
Every guest, regardless of age, needs a ticket.
Strollers and car seats are not allowed on the trolley due to space and safety restrictions.
Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited on the trolley and in the registration/check-in area.
Restroom access is available at the check-in office before and after your tour.
Dress appropriately for the season and weather—you’ll want to be comfortable.
Please do not bring large bags, coolers, suitcases, or backpacks aboard. Storage space is limited, and these items may block aisles or seats.
